Service aside, the bathroom shower (there was no tub) is a serious accident waiting to happen. You expect more for north of $200 a night. And of course there was no dish soap to wash coffee cups and no replacement cups. Meanwhile damp towels were piling up under the sink - they were never even removed. We were made to feel as though we were intruding by even asking. Never an apology or even an acknowledgment that there was a problem. This time we just got a shrug, more dry towels and coffee pods. We asked to be put on the next day’s list. They said you have to ask to be put on the list for service and acted as though we should have known that, then handed us towels and coffee pods. When we returned at the end of our first day to find the room unserviced, we asked at the desk. We were never informed - not on the website, not when booking, not at checkin, and not on any card or info sheet in the room - that there would be no maid service. But the real issue was the lack of maid service. The front desk staff were almost all surly and unhelpful. Never have we encountered such poor service. We have traveled a lot, and frequently stay in places of the Comfort Inn/Hampton Inn type and price range like this one.
